Burial of policeman Amirul with state honor completed in Manikganj

Manikganj Correspondent: Policeman Amirul Islam Parvez, who was killed in an attack by BNP leaders and activists at Dainik Bangar intersection during BNP's mass meeting in Naya Paltan area of ​​the capital on Saturday, has been buried with state honor.

On Sunday (October 29), Amirul's funeral prayers ended after Maghrib at the government Pramoda Sundari High School grounds of Manikganj's Daulatpur Upazila. Later he was buried in the central cemetery of the upazila.

Parvez, the deceased policeman, currently resides in Faizpur village of Daptior union of Tangail's Nagarpur upazila. However, his original home is Charkatari village of Ward No. 8, Charkatari Union, Daulatpur Upazila of Manikganj. He is the eldest son of Md Sekender Ali Molla, the freedom fighter of that village.

It is known that Parvez got a police job in 2009 at the address of Manikganj in Muktijodha Kota. As his work place was in Dhaka, he lived in a rented house in Shahjahanpur with his wife Ruma Akhter and seven-year-old daughter Tanha.

In this direction, Member of Parliament Manikganj 1 Constituency Naimur Rahman Durjoy came to Daulatpur Government Pramoda Sundari High School grounds to participate in the funeral of policeman Parvez who was killed this afternoon. At this time, Durjoy said to help Amirul's family with one lakh taka in cash.

Seeing the car carrying the body of Parvez, his parents and relatives broke down in tears. Around 4:30 pm today, the body of policeman Amirul Islam Parvez, who was killed in the BNP police clash in Dhaka, reached Daulatpur Govt Pramoda Sundari High School ground in Daulatpur Upazila of Manikganj. After that, the people of Daulatpur flocked to have a last look at him. At this time, the sound of crying became heavy all around. Younger brother Biplab, sister Sefali, wife Ruma and daughter Tanha are crying after losing their elder brother.

District Commissioner, District Superintendent of Police, District Awami League President, General Secretary, Chairman of Daulatpur Upazila Parishad, relatives of the deceased along with district police officers and local people were present at Parvez's funeral.
