District police exchange of views with the newly elected District Lawyers Association in Kurigram

Kurigram representative: A greeting and exchange meeting was held with the newly elected District Lawyers Association in Kurigram by the District Police. On Monday (September 11), a meeting, exchange of greetings and exchange of views was held with the leaders of the newly elected district lawyers' association of Kurigram district, courtesy of the district police. 

Superintendent of Police Al Asad Md. Mahfuzul Islam was present in the conference room of the office of the Superintendent of Police, the newly elected President of the District Bar Association Khurshid Alam, General Secretary Nazmul Islam, Vice President Sujit Kumar Chakraborty, Zaheer Uddin Ahmed, Joint General Secretary Khandkar Mahabat, Treasurer Abdul Mannan, Office Secretary Zahid Ahmed Kajal, Culture and Entertainment Secretary Mizanur Rahman Sarkar, Sports Secretary T, M, Arifuzzaman and Library Secretary Baksi Mizanur Rahman Saju. Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Sajjad Hossain and Additional Superintendent of Police of Kurigram Circle A.K.M. were also present. ohidunnabi 

The Superintendent of Police congratulated all the leaders of the newly elected District Lawyers Association on behalf of the District Police in the exchange meeting. In criminal investigations, police and prosecution complement each other to ensure justice for the citizens and discuss various existing issues on both sides.

Discussions were also held on how to ensure conviction through fair investigation and strong prosecution in terrorism, extremism, communal harmony and drug cases. Regarding how to further accelerate the overwhelming efforts of building a drug-free, positive, enlightened Kurigram, both parties are confident and expect to work more firmly to achieve the desired goal of the government.
