A terrible explosion in Milan, Italy

International desk: A terrible explosion occurred on a road in the Porta Romana area of ​​Milan, the capital of Lombardy, the northern province of Italy. With the explosion, several buildings adjacent to the road and several waiting cars caught fire, according to the Italian news television channel Sky TG24. The explosion occurred around 4 pm local time on Thursday.

In a report citing the fire service, Sky TG24 said, after a sudden explosion in an oxygen tanker truck waiting on the road, several cars in front and behind the truck also exploded. A few buildings around the road caught fire in that terrible explosion. A short video footage of the incident was tweeted on social networking site Twitter.

It was seen there, a few cars on the road and huge black smoke coils rising from the windows of several buildings adjacent to the road. Italian daily Corriere della Sera reported that a primary school and several residential buildings along the road were damaged by the fire caused by the explosion. However, no other casualty information was received except that one person was injured.
