A moderate earthquake shook Afghanistan

International Desk: Afghanistan has been shaken by a moderate earthquake. The magnitude of this earthquake was 4.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake that struck on Tuesday was Faizabad, a region in the country's southeast. However, no casualty or damage has been reported so far. Afghanistan's National Seismological Center (NCS) confirmed the earthquake in a tweet. The agency said the earthquake struck Afghanistan at 2:32 a.m. local time on Tuesday. The earthquake originated 116 km southeast of Faizabad city at a depth of 120 km.

However, no casualties have been reported in the earthquake so far. Earlier, an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck Afghanistan on May 3. According to the country's National Earthquake Center, the earthquake that struck at 2:21 p.m. that day originated at a depth of 169 kilometers from the surface.
