Cyclone Jawad could hit this time

News Desk: Earlier, the meteorological office had predicted that there would be multiple depressions in the Bay of Bengal this November. They also talked about the possibility of a cyclone in this depression. This time that fear is going to come true. Cyclone Javad could hit the country in mid-November.

This warning message was given by Bangladesh Meteorological Monitoring Team (BWT) on Friday night.

According to the weather forecast, a cyclone is expected to form in the Bay of Bengal between November 15 and 16. If the right environment is found, it will turn into cyclone 'Jawad'. Which could hit the coast from 18 to 19 November.

The warning said that Andhra Pradesh, off the coast of Orissa in India, could be at high risk for cyclone Jawad. Notable areas are Brahmapur, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam.

The coastal areas will be 24 Parganas of West Bengal, Sundarbans, Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat, Barguna and Patuakhali of Bangladesh. Pirojpur, Barisal, Jhalokati and Bhola have also been identified as risky areas. Apart from this, Hatia, Laxmipur, Feni to Chittagong, Kutubdia and some parts of southern Andhra Pradesh of India have been identified as moderate risk areas.

A regular meeting of the committee was held on November 2 at the Meteorological Department's Dhaka Storm Warning Center and through video conferencing to provide long-term weather forecast. According to the expert committee's forecast report for the current month, normal rainfall is expected in the country in November. One to two depressions are expected in the Bay of Bengal this month, one of which could turn into a cyclone.

The long-term forecast is that day and night temperatures may gradually decrease in November. However, the average temperature may be normal this month.

According to the forecast, light to moderate fog is expected in the northern part of the country and in the river basins from morning till morning in November. Normal flow in the main rivers of the country may be maintained during this month.
