International Desk: The Government of India has approved the Serum Institute (SII) for the export of Corona Vaccine to Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar and Iran. This October alone, Bangladesh, Nepal and Myanmar will receive 1 million covshield vaccines under the 'Vaccine Friendship' program. On the other hand, Iran will get 1 million vaccines from India Biotech.

This information was revealed by the officials of the country on Thursday. The Serum Institute is capable of producing more than 200 million doses of Covishield per month, and they have informed the country's government that it will be possible to supply 220 million doses this October. According to various sources, Prakash Kumar Singh, director of government and regulatory affairs, said the country's health minister, Mansukh Mandavia, had approved the Seram Institute on how to solve the problem of vaccines. Earlier, India's health minister said in an announcement on September 20 that India would resume export of surplus vaccines in October under the 'Vaccine Friendship' program. Finally, Bangladesh is getting vaccines bought from India as per the agreement. Beximco, a Bangladeshi company, had entered into an agreement with the Serum Institute to obtain a covishield vaccine for coronavirus.

According to the agreement, Bangladesh gets 6 million doses of vaccine. The country suspended vaccine exports in March after a second wave of coronavirus worsened the situation in India. As a result, Bangladesh did not understand even after buying 30 million doses of vaccine. As a result, there is an extreme crisis with vaccines.
