Three killed in three separate terror attacks in Kashmir

International Desk: At least three civilians have been killed in three separate terrorist attacks in Indian-controlled Kashmir. One of them is a chemist, one is a food vendor and the other is a taxi driver. Police said the attack took place within an hour.

The deceased was 60-year-old Makhan Lal Bindru, a businessman. He was the owner of Bindru Medicare Pharmacy in Iqbal Park, Srinagar. The terrorists shot him inside the pharmacy from a short distance. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The assailant fled before police and security forces arrived at the scene. Later the pharmacy was closed and searched.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in a tweet strongly condemned the attack on Makhan Lal and expressed his condolences to his family. "It's very scary news," the tweet said. He was also mentioned as a very good man.

Shortly after the attack on Iqbal Park, terrorists stormed Srinagar's Lalbazar and shot dead a food vendor. Police said the man's name was Birendra Paswan. He was a resident of Bhagalpur in Bihar but lived in Jadibal area of ​​Srinagar. This is the fourth murder in Srinagar in the last four days, police said.

The third terrorist attack in an hour in the Union Territory took place in the Bandipora area. The taxi driver was shot dead by the terrorists there. The man, identified as Mohammad Shafi, was the president of a local taxi stand.
