Mass vaccination activities are no more for now: Health Minister

News Desk: Health Minister Zahid Malek has said that the mass vaccination activities of Corona are not taking place at present. When the vaccine arrives in the country (protection app and website) everyone has to register and take it.

He said this while talking to reporters at the secretariat on Monday.

The health minister said 3 million people have been vaccinated under the mass vaccine. Although the program created chaos in various places, 3 million people have been vaccinated in the six-day program.

The minister said 80 million people would be vaccinated by next January, adding that corona infections were declining. Deaths are also declining. Vaccination activities are going on in the city now. Pfizer's 6 million vaccines will be available by September.

One million more will be available from China. One and a half crore synopharma vaccines will have to be purchased through the World Health Organization. That has been ordered. Besides, the agreement with China is worth Rs 8.5 crore. 160 million vaccines will be available by December. It is expected that 6 to 7 crore people will be vaccinated by January.
