Another 278 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals in the country

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 28 new dengue patients have been admitted to different hospitals in the country. Most of them are residents of the capital.

Of these, 256 people have been admitted to various government and private hospitals in the capital Dhaka and 21 people have been admitted to various hospitals outside Dhaka. Since the beginning of the year, 35 people have died of dengue.

This information has been given in the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Saturday afternoon.

In the last 24 hours, 26 new people have been admitted to various hospitals across the country due to dengue. At present, the total number of patients admitted in different government and private hospitals of the country stands at one thousand 206 people.

There are 1,119 people admitted in 41 government and private hospitals in Dhaka and 6 people are admitted in different hospitals of other departments.

Earlier, on August 20, 221 people across the country were infected with dengue and admitted to various hospitals.

According to the report, a total of 6,750 patients were admitted to the hospital from January 1 to August 20 this year. Among them, 8,509 patients have recovered and left the hospital. Dengue has killed 35 people at this time.
