Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Detective Lalbagh Division has arrested three drug dealers including Yaba in the capital's Tejgaon.

The arrested are- Md. Abdul Karim, Md. Rubel Mia and Md. Rabbi. Eight thousand 400 pieces of yaba were recovered from them. Two motorcycles used for transporting drugs were seized at the time.

They were arrested in a raid at Satarasta junction of Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station at 6:15 pm on Friday (August 20).

Assistant Commissioner of Police. Fazlur Rahman said that some people had taken up position in the Satarasta junction area to sell drugs and they were arrested on the basis of this news.

The arrested persons collected these yaba from Cox's Bazar and brought it to Dhaka for sale. A case has been filed against them at Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station.
