News Desk: The freedom gained in exchange for the blood of millions of martyrs should not fail in any way. We will take this Bangladesh forward as a developed and prosperous country. In the meantime, I have got the status of a developing country. We have a long way to go in the future, and we have that plan.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made the remarks at a meeting of secretaries at the Planning Ministry in the capital's Agargaon on Wednesday (August 18th).

Addressing the secretaries from Ganobhaban, the Prime Minister said, "We have a plan for the development of Bangladesh keeping in mind our perspective plan or Delta Plan and its implementation should be done properly." Our only goal is for grassroots people to have a better life. Get rid of poverty.

He said food, clothing, shelter, medical treatment should be given. We have to carry out our activities in the same way that Bangladesh is moving forward in the future as well. We have built its foundation and we have to move forward with it.
