International Desk: Chinese spacecraft Jhurang successfully landed on Mars. China is the second country in the world after the United States to witness this unique feat. The special six-wheeled spacecraft touched down on Mars morning on Saturday (May 15) local time. Jhurang reached Mars last February. It travels around for about three months and collects various data and pictures.

It finally landed successfully on May 15 in a few steps in the North Pole region of Mars. It is expected to return to Earth in the next three months after orbiting Mars. Jhurangya is named after one of the mythological names of fire. It has six scientific instruments, including a high-resolution topography camera.
