Admission of patients in the largest corona hospital of the country started today

News Desk: Patients are being treated at the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Corona Dedicated Hospital from Monday (April 19) with the necessary beds and ICU facilities for the treatment of patients infected with the coronavirus. The patients will get all the medical facilities including patient admission in this corona hospital which is the largest in the country.

The hospital was inaugurated by Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek on Monday (April 19th). Initially, the journey started with 50 ICUs, 50 emergency wards, 150 general beds, and 130 doctors and 300 nurses, but the authorities want to increase it to 1,000 beds within a month. Besides, there is a central oxygen supply system for patients. In his inaugural address, Health Minister Zahid Malek said that each bed has a high-flow oxygen supply system. In each bed we will use hyponazole canola, oxygen concentrator i.e.

500 beds of the hospital are equivalent to an ICU bed. DNCC Mayor. Atiqul Islam said, "Those who come to this hospital will get the best treatment at the lowest price like other hospitals." According to the Department of Health, the Ministry of Health has provided 500 doctors, 600 nurses, 600 staff, and medicines and equipment to provide medical services at the specialized hospital.

On August 9 last year, visit the Corona Isolation Center, DNCC Mayor. Atiqul Islam announced the transformation of the market in Mohakhali into a 500-bed urban hospital. Eight months after the announcement, the DNCC Dedicated Corona Hospital began treating patients with corona.

How to be admitted to DNCC Corona Hospital: DNCC Dedicated Covid-19 Hospital authorities said that patients with corona will first enter the hospital's Tria. This trial has two zones. Of these, those who have mild symptoms in Triage-1 will not need to be admitted and will be given the necessary medicines. He will be able to report to this zone later.

Separate arrangements have been made for at-risk patients in Triage-2. Those who are at risk of coronary heart disease will go straight to Triage-2. A six-bed ICU and ventilator have been installed here. Here they will be sent to the emergency department on the second floor after the necessary tests.

50 beds have been set up in the emergency department. If anyone's physical condition appears to be at risk after coming here, they will be transferred to the 5th floor ICU and HDU. In the meantime, if the level of risk is a little less, they will be kept in the cabin. The cabins have high-flow nasal canola facilities with central oxygen.

Corona Hospital Director Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin told Jago News on Sunday (April 18th) that the health ministry has provided the necessary medical equipment including more than 500 doctors, 600 nurses, and 600 staff to run the service. Now they are ready to serve.
