International Desk: Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson is not attending the funeral of Prince Philip, husband of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh. He will not attend the event due to existing corona restrictions, the BBC reported.

Boris Johnson will not attend Prince Philip's funeral on Saturday, the British Prime Minister's official residence at 10 Downing Street. The decision was made to ensure the participation of as many members of the royal family as possible. According to the BBC, only 30 members of the Duke of Edinburgh's children, grandchildren and other close family members will be present at the funeral. Ordinary people have been told to stay away from the event because of the Corona epidemic.

Prince Philip was born in 1921 on the Greek island of Corfu. His father was Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark. He was the youngest son of George I, King of Hellness. Her mother, Princess Alice, was the daughter of Lord Louis Mountbatten.

Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II have four children. They have eight grandchildren and 10 more grandchildren. Prince Philip died last Friday at the age of 99.
