Yahoo Answers will close next May

News Desk: Yahoo Answers is one of the largest web Q&A platforms in the world. The Yahoo Answers website was launched in 2005, 18 years ago today. Yahoo launched the website with its users in mind, but on April 5, authorities announced that it was shutting down. There is a short note on the Yahoo Ansar website immediately after the search bar. According to the note, Yahoo Answers is going to close on May 4.

And as part of its activities, the entire website will go into read-only mode from April 20.

Verge said in a report that Yahoo has sent detailed information to Active Members. It says that even though it is closed on May 4, users will be able to download the required questions and answers by June 30. However, in that case, you have to sign in to the Privacy Dashboard and send a download request.

The one-time highest-earning website has been cited as the reason for its closure, citing low popularity. Even if Yahoo Answers is closed, the Yahoo account and other Yahoo properties and services will remain unchanged.
