Corona's second wave is sweeping across India. Infection is spreading from state to state. Multiple states in the country have lost their way to unbridled infection. The country is currently undergoing two vaccinations against corona. The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is produced by the Serum Institute in Pune. On the other hand, Hyderabad-based company Bharat Biotech and ICMR are jointly producing covacin.

At present these two vaccines are being applied among the people in the country. It may be recalled that on January 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the simultaneous vaccination program across India.

The first step in the program is to vaccinate only those who have worked as frontline fighters against corona. Then the vaccination was taken by doctors, nurses, and other health workers, as well as the staff associated with the country's security department. All people above the age of 45 are being vaccinated from the second phase of the program. The central government is working to speed up vaccination activities across the country.
