In West Bengal, the number of people affected by corona has dropped to 6 lakh

In the last 24 hours, 2,390 new corona have been identified in West Bengal. With this, the number of infected people in the state stood at 6 lakh, 24 people.

According to the health department, 2,390 people have been newly infected with a corona in the last 24 hours in the state. 622 of them in Calcutta. That is the first in this district in terms of infection. North 24 Parganas is in second place. There are 546 people infected with a corona in one day. Howrah is in third place with 224 people. South 24 Parganas 122 people in the fourth place. So far, the total number of infected people in the state has increased to 6 lakh, 24 people.

Eight more people have died of coronavirus in West Bengal in the last 24 hours. Among the dead were 3 from Kolkata and North 24 Parganas. One is from Howrah and one is from West Burdwan. With this, the total number of deaths in Corona has increased to 10 thousand 373 people.

In the last 24 hours, 6 people have recovered from Corona. So far, 5 lakh 65 thousand 371 people have returned home after winning Corona in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 95.69 percent.

Corona became highly contagious in West Bengal in March last year. Lockdown was issued to handle the situation. After two and a half months everything is off and the situation is normal. Public transport was gradually introduced. The state's corona infestation rate was down earlier this year. However, after everything became normal, especially from the election campaign, the number of victims is increasing again. In the latest state, the number of corona cases has dropped to six lakh.
