International Desk: After nearly seven days of desperate efforts, the giant ship MV Ever Given, finally stranded in Egypt's Suez Canal, was finally evacuated. The ship was re-launched early Monday morning, local time, Reuters reported.

This trade route, one of the busiest in the world, will be opened soon. According to two sources, it was possible to straighten the ship stuck in the canal.

The largest man-made canal to connect the Mediterranean with the Red Sea is expected to begin shipping soon. According to the German media Deutsche Welle, the 500-meter-long, 59-meter-wide, 220,000-ton ship lost control while heading for the Mediterranean. At one point it got stuck in the canal.

Presumably, the ship derailed due to strong winds. Then it turns around. The bottom of the ship was stuck in the mud under the canal.

Attempts were made in various ways to remove the stranded monster ship. Attempts were made to move it by bringing dredging ships, installing tug boats, and using rising water and high waves during high tide. But nothing seemed to be happening.

Ever Given was so trapped that ships could not pass through the Mediterranean or the Red Sea. As a result, a lot of ships got stuck on both sides. According to the Suez Canal Authority, at least 369 ships carrying containers, liquefied natural gas, oil tankers, and livestock are stranded on either side of the canal. Of these, 13 Romanian cargo ships have been stranded, leaving several thousand animals.

Egypt says veterinarians, food, and water are being sent on those ships. The world has suffered huge losses due to the blockade of the Suez Canal. Every day about 800 to 1 trillion dollars is being lost. Of this, Egypt alone is losing 12 million to 14 million a day.
