News Desk: No one has died of coronavirus in Chittagong in the last 24 hours. However, 279 more people have been identified during this period. The total number of people identified as infected in the district is 36,292. The information was received from the Chittagong Civil Surgeon's Office on Wednesday (March 24) morning. Dr. Civil Surgeon. Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said that yesterday (Tuesday) in Chittagong and Cox's Bazar Medical College Lab, 2,397 samples were tested and 269 new corona were identified. Of these, 243 are from the city and 26 from the Upazila.

It is learned that coronavirus was found in the bodies of 62 people in Chittagong Medical College Lab, 53 people in BITID Lab in Fauzdarhat, and two people in Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Sivasu) Lab yesterday.

Besides, 6 people in the private Chevron Hospital lab, 12 people in the Agrabad Maternal and Child Hospital lab, and 52 people in the lab of the Imperial Hospital have been identified as infected with corona. However, no samples were tested at Chittagong General Hospital (RTRL) Lab and Chittagong University Lab on that day. At the same time, Cox's Bazar Medical College Lab tested 15 samples and found no one infected.
