News Desk: The stencils of the Padma Bridge, which were lost due to river erosion, have been rebuilt and brought from Europe. After being unloaded at Chittagong port by sea, it was quickly brought to Mawa. The work of the bridge went one step further. Now the progress of the main bridge is 92 percent and the overall progress is 84 percent.

The Padma Bridge is now a monument to Bangladesh's potential. The work on the bridge went one step further to solve the remaining stencil crisis on the ground floor of the bridge. Its work was being hampered by the lack of stencils. Railway slabs could not be installed in the 900 meter area of the bridge. Now the slabs will settle quickly. Out of 2,959 railway slabs, 2,409 and 2,918 roadway slabs have been installed. Each 7 and a half tons of new stencils are cut, rubbed and various work is going on. Workers at the bridge say work has progressed from all sides. Once the stencil is installed, the casting work will start. Concerned people say that it will be possible to install the stencils within the next two months.

Syed Rajab Ali, executive engineer of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project, said preparations were underway to install it. Hopefully, there will be no more obstacles to our work. SM Tanmim Habib Shuvo, assistant engineer of the Padma Bahu Bridge project, said all the stencils were moving to the Mawa side. Stenzer's fabrication and erasing activities are underway.

As a result, the work of laying the slab of the railway will get speed. 1312 stencils will be installed in 41 spans of the entire Padma bridge. Already 1120 have sat down. The new stencils will sit in 6 spans of modules 2 and 3 on the Mawa side.
