News Desk: Tk 56 lakh looted from bKash distributor in Cox's Bazar has been recovered. 3 people have been arrested in this incident.
On Wednesday (November 18) afternoon, Anwar, the owner of bKash agent NF Enterprise, sent his longtime confidant, CNG-powered autorickshaw driver Mohammad Ismail, to the Cox's Bazar branch of United Commercial Bank to withdraw Tk 60 lakh, police said. After withdrawing the money, Ismail mysteriously disappeared.
Nizam Uddin, general manager of bKash distributor, lodged a written complaint with Sadar Model Police Station.
Police raided and arrested the driver. According to his information, 56 lakh 50 thousand rupees were recovered from the BGB camp area. Jasim Uddin and his wife Sajeda Begum were detained at the time.
