A terrible explosion at an army base in Cambodia, 20 soldiers were killed

International Desk:  20 soldiers were killed in an explosion at an army base in the Southeast Asian country of Cambodia. Army personnel lost their lives in an ammunition explosion at a base in the western part of the country. Prime Minister Hun Manet confirmed this information. Al Jazeera news.

The explosion took place on a local Saturday evening at a military base in the country's Kampong Speu province. Several army personnel were also injured. Prime Minister Hun Manet gave this information in a post on social media Facebook. However, he did not give detailed information about this. 

Hun Manet said he was deeply saddened by the news of the explosion at the military base in Kampong Speu province. It was not immediately known what caused the explosion. Prime Minister Hun Manet has not informed anything about this.

He expressed his condolences to the families of the slain soldiers and promised that the government would provide financial assistance for their funerals and compensation to the families of the victims. 

A post on social media showed smoke billowing from a damaged building. People injured in the accident are being treated at the hospital.
