Ukraine claims to shoot down 13 Russian drones

International Desk: Russian forces have attacked Ukraine's Kharkiv and Dnipro regions and Odessa, a port city on the Black Sea coast.

Two civilians were killed in the overnight attack on Saturday (April 4). However, the Ukrainian Air Force claimed to have shot down at least 13 Russian drones. British news agency Reuters reported this news.

The governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleh Siniehubov, said two people, including a woman, were killed in the village of Slobozansk in a Russian missile attack. Two others were injured. Besides, at least six workers were injured in the attack on a food factory.

Oleh Kiper, the regional governor of Odesa in the south, said three people were injured in the missile attack in the city. Besides, a building caught fire. Several houses and commercial buildings were damaged.

Four others were injured by the debris of the building. In a video message on Saturday night, President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that Ukraine's 110th Mechanized Brigade shot down a Russian Su-25 bomber in the eastern Donetsk region.

According to him, the Russian forces attack the frontline fighters and different areas with eight different types of missiles and about 70 bombers every day. Zelensky also said that Moscow has no desire to establish peace. A world peace conference is going to be held in Switzerland in June. He also said that the conference should be successful without Russia.
