Narail road rabi Shasya twisted and burned toyota!

Narail Correspondent: Upazila Parishad Chairman candidate Nazmul Haque Prince's Toyota Square private car got burnt in Purba Rampur village of Bausona Union of Naragati Thana of Kalia Upazila in Narail. The accident happened on March 23 (Saturday) around 1 pm on the road near the house of Alfu Sheikh's son Rafiq Sheikh of that village. Former Chairman of Salamabad Union and Upazila Parishad Chairman candidate SM Nazmul Haque Prince along with 5 relatives in the car narrowly escaped with their lives. When the locals failed to bring the fire under control after several attempts, the personnel of Kalia Fire Service Station brought the fire under control.

Locals said that many lives are lost prematurely in vehicle accidents every year due to the drying of Rabi crops on the roadside. They feel that the concerned authorities should take strict action in this regard.

Naragati Thana Chhatra League President Manjur Chowdhury said that the accident happened near his house. He said that tin tree or kakcha got mixed with the silencer by twisting the wheel of the car and caught fire. Then they failed to put out the fire and informed the fire service, they brought it under control. He requested the district and upazila administration to take strict action in this regard.

Shikdar Obaidur Rahman, the cousin of the chairman candidate who was in that car, said that Rampur Moti Khar was shaking the tin from the house and got twisted in the wheel. After that, when the car reached the spot, it got completely jammed and caught fire. We quickly opened the lock and came out. For a little while, the great God saved us from a great danger.

Md Zakir Hossain, Leader of Kalia Fire Service Station, said that at 12:50 p.m., we got the information about the fire in East Rampura and quickly came to the spot and brought the fire under control. The fire is initially believed to have started from tin left to dry on the road. In this accident, a Toyota Square car was completely destroyed. He said that the actual cost of damage will be known subject to investigation.
