Meteorological department has reduced the temperature due to rain

News desk: Although the sky was cloudy throughout the day in different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka, it rained on Wednesday night. Due to the rain, the temperature has also decreased. It may continue for several more days, said the Meteorological Department.

The Directorate of Meteorology has informed that on Thursday, there may be temporary gusts of wind or rain with thunder in some places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and in two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions. It is also said that during this time, the day temperature may increase slightly and the night temperature may decrease slightly. However, on Friday (March 22), day and night temperatures may increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius. Meteorologist Md. Umar Farooq said that the rain may increase till March 26. At that time the temperature may drop again. Besides, the extension of western low pressure is staying over West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal. Meteorologists said that it is raining this time due to the low pressure in the west.
