BMET to recruit 70 language instructors, application deadline May 11 Jobs

Jobs Desk: The Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) will recruit 70 guest language instructors to conduct language courses at government Technical Training Centers (TTCs). Candidates proficient in Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, French, and Italian will be eligible to participate in this panel formation process. Interested applicants must submit their applications by post within April 20.

Details of the posts and number of vacancies

A total of 70 posts are available:

Portuguese language: 06 posts

Spanish language: 06 posts

Japanese language: 40 posts

Russian language: 06 posts

French language: 06 posts

Italian language: 06 posts

Qualifications and remuneration

Candidates applying for Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, and French must have at least Level B1 proficiency in the respective language proficiency test. For Japanese, candidates must have at least HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) along with JLPT N3 or equivalent level. For Italian, a minimum Level A2 language proficiency is required.

Candidates who have lived in the respective countries for more than three years, or who have worked as language instructors in reputed institutions for over a year, will be given preference.

Selected instructors will receive a remuneration of 800 taka per hour, with a maximum of 4 hours payable per day.

Application process

Interested candidates must download the prescribed form from the BMET website and fill it out. Along with the scanned copy submitted online, applicants must also send the original application form by post, along with attested copies of all educational qualifications and experience certificates. No direct applications will be accepted.

Exam schedule

Written and oral examinations for all languages will be held on May 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Exam center: Dhaka Technical Teachers Training Institute (DTTTI), Mirpur, Dhaka.
