Mirza Abbas’s surgery has been completed

News Desk: Brain surgery of Mirza Abbas, a member of the Standing Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has been completed. The operation was carried out on Friday (March 13) in the afternoon at Evercare Hospital Dhaka.
Confirming the information, BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam said that a medical board consisting of specialist doctors reviewed the situation and decided to perform brain surgery. According to that decision, the operation has now been completed.
He said that Mirza Abbas underwent a CT scan in the morning. When the report showed a deterioration in his condition, a virtual medical board was quickly convened. After reviewing all aspects, the board decided to proceed with the surgery. Consent from his family members was also obtained before the operation.
Dr. Rafiqul Islam also mentioned that the medical board includes several renowned neurology specialists from the country.
Members of the board include Professor Ali Uzzaman Joardar, Professor Kazi Din Mohammad, Professor Shahabuddin Talukdar, Professor Raziul Haque, Professor Saeed Ahmed, Professor Kader Sheikh, and Professor Shafiqul Islam, along with doctors from Evercare Hospital.
At the same time, Mirza Abbas’s family has requested prayers from the people of the country for his speedy recovery.
