There is no question of relaxing educational qualifications for the managing committee: Education Minister

News Desk: Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon said that instead of including semi-educated individuals, there are plans to form managing committees with people who have meaningful contributions in the field of education. He added that the information circulated about forming committees with semi-educated people is incomplete and distorted.
The minister made these remarks on Friday (March 13) in Kachua while responding to questions from journalists after distributing prizes among winners of various competitions organized for National Education Week and handing out wheelchairs to people with disabilities.
He clearly stated that there is no question of relaxing educational qualification requirements for managing committees.
The Education Minister said, “Before the rest of the country, we want to make Kachua a role model in education. From here it will spread across the country. Because we must first put our own house in order. The government is working step by step to improve the quality of education.”
He also said that the SSC examination will no longer follow the old system. Instead, initiatives have been taken to introduce a new, modern, and practical examination system.
Addressing journalists, Milon urged them to present the real facts and avoid reporting statements in a fragmented way.
He further added that in the future examinees, invigilators, and observers in examination halls will be brought under a more structured set of rules.
