News Desk: Today is the first working day of the week. On Sunday (March 8), Prime Minister Tariq Rahman left home in the morning like any other day. However, one of his comments today caused some surprise among those present.
On this day, the Prime Minister opened the door of the house and said with a smile to everyone present, 'Let's go to war.'
After these three words, the private officers present were somewhat shocked. Later they realized that he referred to the responsibility of running the country as 'war' in a metaphorical sense. In this short speech, he has highlighted the daily struggle in the formation of the country.
At that time, his additional press secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon was next to the Prime Minister. He said that the Prime Minister left for the Secretariat from his residence in Gulshan in the capital at 8:42 am.
He said his personal officers and security officers are ready before leaving the Prime Minister's residence. They were waiting like everyday. Right then, the Prime Minister opened the door and spoke to the audience with a natural smile.
The Additional Press Secretary also said that the Prime Minister reached the Secretariat at around 9:30 am. There he has several meetings throughout the day.
Today's program includes meetings with Education Minister ANM Ehchanul Haque Milan, Education Advisor Mahdi Amin and Bangladesh Investment Board Executive Chairman Ashiq Chowdhury. The Prime Minister is also scheduled to attend several other meetings during the day.
