Lifestyle Desk : Amalaki is a source of Vitamin C. There are very few people who like to eat amlaki. This small fruit contains a lot of vitamins, which help to boost your body's immunity. Although this fruit is quite sour and bitter in taste. But if you drink water after eating Amalaki, you will immediately feel the sweetness in your mouth. If you can't eat raw amlaki, you can eat its jhal-mishti pickle. If you want this pickle with a unique taste, you can keep it in your daily diet. Ingredients required for making Amlaki Achar-
1. Amlaki 1 kg, 2. Half a cup of crushed garlic, 3. Mustard oil 1 cup, 4. Salt 1 teaspoon, 5. Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, 6. Red pepper powder 1 teaspoon, 7. 1 teaspoon of beet salt, 8. Tamarind 8/10 koya and 9. Sugar 1 cup.
9. 8-10 dry red chillies, 10. Panchfodan 1 tablespoon, 11. Whole coriander 1 teaspoon, 12 Sweet cumin or fennel. Mix it all together in a blender or grind it in half.
method
Place the pan in the oven and put oil in it. When the oil is hot, fry the garlic cloves. Then mix the amlaki, sugar, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and tamarind after stirring for a while. Mix well by shaking. At first, water will come out of the sugar, but after stirring for a while, the sugar water will become dry and smooth. Then add powdered pickle masala and bit of salt through it. Reduce the heat of the stove and stir for another 10-15 minutes. When the pickles are dry and mashed, take them out of the oven. Vyas will be prepared sour-sweet pickle of Amlaki. When pickles are cool, store in jars or covered bowls.
