International Desk:  At least 165 more Palestinians have been killed in the last 24 hours by Israel's indiscriminate attack on the Gaza Strip. Another 290 Palestinians were injured at the same time. This information was given in a statement by the Ministry of Health controlled by Hamas, the ruling group of Gaza on Sunday. According to the statement, 165 Palestinians have been killed and 290 injured in Israeli attacks in the valley in the last 24 hours. Al-Jazeera news

At least 26 thousand 422 Palestinians have been killed and another 65 thousand 87 injured in the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip since October 7.

More than 11,000 children and 7,500 women are among the victims. Israel's attack on Gaza has destroyed large parts of the besieged territory. About 85 percent of Gaza's population has been displaced in more than three months of fighting.

On October 7, the Palestinian independence group Hamas attacked Israeli territory. Later, the Israeli military began airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. After three weeks of continuous airstrikes, the Israeli military launched a ground operation in northern Gaza.

About 85 percent of Gaza's 2.3 million residents have fled their homes, UN officials said. Thousands of people have taken refuge in UN-run shelters in the southern part of the coastal valley.

About a quarter of the valley's people are starving, the agency says. Sufficient humanitarian aid is also unable to reach Gaza due to continued bombardment and Israeli restrictions.
