Job Title: Assistant Manager–Raw Material Warehouse-DF Function: Supply chain Location: Berger Dhaka Factory, Savar Key Accountabilities

• Manage receiving, storing of raw materials in compliance with company’s policies and values.
• Plan and execute storage of raw materials and packaging material to ensure optimum utilization of warehouse space and resources in coordination with Procurement, Planning and commercial to ensure smooth operation
• Manage issued raw materials to production by maintaining FEFO (First Expire First Out) for production as and when required.
• Specify damaged/expired/rejected/redundant/non-moving or unusable stock and execution of their disposal as per policy to maintain freshness of raw materials and optimum use of the resources.
• Implement compliance and health & safety measures/ practices in line with company policy to create an environment friendly safe workplace and recommend improvement to standard procedures to avoid unwanted operational error and potential hazards
• Analyze critical list of raw materials and communicate to the different production unit for necessary alignment and specify the critical raw materials that may hindering the production process and mitigation through taking corrective measurement.
• Analyze inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with SAP
• Plan manpower and machinery requirement to issue and receive of Raw Materials and control over time expenses within the budget
• Propose yearly raw materials and packaging material warehouse expense budget and monitor actual cost are incurred within budget.
• Plan and maintain physical condition of raw material warehouse and implementing new design layouts, product flow, and product handling equipment for better warehouse management.

Knowledge, Experience and Competencies Qualification :

• Bachelor in Science from any reputed public / private university
• MBA will be an added advantage

• Develop, Improve & customize product, production support and Process validation.
• Evaluation of new Raw Materials & packaging materials.
• Set up/revise and established quality plan for new & existing products as per market requirement.
• Scale up new product from lab scale to production scale and process development.
• Preserving R&D Documents and follow up the requirements as per ISO 9001:2008.
• Calibrate and standardize measuring equipment of laboratory and maintain records.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
• Properly manage retain sample, general housekeeping & disposal of test sample, expired sample etc.
• Performs other duties as and when assigned by Manager –Special Projects, R&D.

Knowledge Experience and Competencies: Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry from any reputed University. Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in paint and coating industry. Competencies :
