News Desk: Bangladesh's youth organizer Md. Receiving the "Global Changemaker Award" from India. Sumon Rahman (Ruhit Sumon). Ruhit Sumon, Chairman of Mayurpankhi Children and Adolescent Social Welfare Organization and Mayurpankhi Family, was awarded this international honor in recognition of his work for world peace, humanitarian work and protection of human rights through social services at home and abroad.

The prestigious award, presented by India's Project 100, will be presented to Sumon on February 20 in recognition of her humanitarian work at an elite hotel in Mumbai. Where citizens of about 30 countries of the world will be present. An invitation letter has already been sent to Sumon informing about the receipt of the award from the organizers. Ruhit Sumon is conducting various activities in the epidemic corona situation through his established organization "Mayurpankhi".

Corona prevention and remedial training and workshops during the outbreak, coordination of volunteers, providing masks, sanitizers, soap among the helpless, destitute and torn roots, distribution of food leaflets, food and iftar materials, sewing machines for self-reliance and employment. Besides, food items, financial assistance and protection materials were provided to the flood victims. Sumon said international honor is really a matter of pride. It is a matter of great pride and joy to receive international honors as a citizen of the red-green flag of Bangladesh.

I love people, I am working for the welfare of the people and I want to do more by involving the youth. I dedicate this international award to all the humanitarian friends of my love organization "Peacock Family". Sumon has been awarded the Global Peace Award at the World Youth Peace Conference in the Maldives, the International Youth Award in India, the International School Award in Dubai, the International Education Award in Thailand and the Star of the Cowid Award in England. Besides, he has received many national and international awards and honors from home and abroad. Incidentally, Sumon is teaching more than a hundred disadvantaged children and women without pay.

He has established Mayurpankhi Adarshalipi School, Mayurpankhi Quran Education Asar, Mayurpankhi Women's Education Center, Mayurpankhi Creative Library, Mayurpankhi Youth and Sports Council and many other charitable organizations. Mayurpankhi Children and Adolescent Social Welfare Organization, established in 2014, is working for the welfare of the neglected, needy people of the society, basic rights including education of disadvantaged children and women and youth welfare. Outside the country, peacocks already have representatives in more than 40 countries.

Ruhit Sumon has previously participated in various international conferences in India, Malaysia, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, UAE, Thailand, Indonesia and Maldives. He built his career as an event organizer and presenter after graduating in film, television and digital media from Green University. He is the publisher and editor of Mayurpankhi Bichitra magazine. Munshiganj's son Sumon Rahman has worked in various organizations in Bangladesh as well as in Save the Children, UNICEF and other international organizations. His various writings for children have been published in national dailies, monthly magazines and journals.
