The government is sincerely working to increase trade with India

News Desk: Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun has said that the present government is working sincerely to increase trade and commerce with India. He said the friendly relations between the two countries are deepening with the increase in trade and commerce between the two countries. Bangladesh's relationship with India, a friendly country, is very much like a blood relationship.

The Industries Minister made the remarks at a reception hosted by Indian Importers Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) to Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswamy on Monday (January 11th) evening. IICCCI Bangladesh CEO Sukant Kashari Sumon presided over the function held at Westin Hotel in the capital.

The Industries Minister said that despite the coronavirus situation, trade and commerce activities of Bangladesh have been conducted properly. The government has continued all kinds of cooperation activities for foreign investment in trade and industry. As a result, traders have been able to manage their business properly.

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswamy said if India and Bangladesh work together even in the Corona crisis, the two countries will be able to overcome the damage to their economies.
