News Desk: The BNP has announced a nationwide protest rally on December 30. BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the program at noon on Tuesday (December 29) at the party's central office in the capital's Naya Paltan.

He has declared December 30 as "Democracy Killing Day", noting that "vote robbery" took place on the night before the 11th parliamentary elections on December 30, 2018. At the same time, the BNP leader also demanded cancellation of the 11th parliamentary elections and re-election.

Rizvi said a protest rally will be held in front of the National Press Club on Wednesday, December 30 at 11 am at the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP. The national leaders of the party will be present at the rally.

On the same day, demonstrations and rallies will be held in districts and metropolises across the country. Rizvi requested the leaders and workers of the BNP and its affiliates at all levels to participate in the protest program in the districts and metropolises including the capital.
