The government is more focused on the development of the hills

He made the remarks while inaugurating the Bangabandhu Tour de CHT MTB Challenge at Sajek Valley in Rangamati on Monday (December 26). The information minister said that sometimes one party is conspiring to hinder the development of the country.

We have to be careful about that. The government is more focused on the development of the hills than other parts of the country. Earlier, a three-day mountain cycling competition was inaugurated on the occasion of Bangabandhu's birth centenary at the initiative of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts. Mountain racing started from Sajek and ended at Thanchi in Bandarban.

100 contestants from different parts of the country took part in the competition. Competitors will cover a distance of 300 km in three days. The organizers think that the mountain tourism will be further developed through the mountain cycling competition.
