Admission to Madhyamik has started today

News Desk: Government secondary schools have started accepting online applications for admission of students. Applications have been accepted from 10 am on Tuesday (December 15). Applications can be submitted till 5 pm on December 26. Students will be selected for admission through online lottery on December 30.

Admission forms will not be distributed from the school this year in Corona situation. Only online admission can be applied. Meanwhile, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) has issued rules for filling up admission forms and paying fees through online and SMS in all government secondary schools located at the divisional city, district and upazila levels.

Last Monday (December 14) Mausi Deputy Director (College-2) said. The rules were published in a circular signed by Enamul Haque Hawladar. According to the admission order, 44 government secondary schools in Dhaka metropolis will be divided into three groups.

At the time of application a student can select a maximum of five schools in a group in the order of choice. In addition, applicants across the country will receive a list of police-based educational institutions at the time of application selection. Candidates will then be able to select a maximum of five schools in order of preference on the basis of availability.

After accepting the application, a student will be selected through online lottery. So far a student has the opportunity to choose a school in a group. To apply for admission, a fee of Tk 110 can only be paid via SMS from Teletalk's pre-paid mobile.
