The woman was apprehended from a check post at the head of Kharna Road in Patia Upazila of Chittagong-Cox's Bazar Highway on Tuesday afternoon. The woman's name is Nasima Begum, she is the daughter of Monir Ahmed of Kotpara area of ​​Cox's Bazar district. Confirming the matter, Additional SP of Patia Circle Tariq Rahman said a passenger bus was stopped at a check post at the head of Patia Kharna Road on the way to Chittagong from Cox's Bazar.

After searching, the police members identified a polybag. Later they opened the polybag and saw the betel nut. After a thorough search, yaba was recovered from inside the betel nut. He said police recovered a total of 3,604 yaba from the bag of the detained woman. A case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act in this regard.
