News Desk: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has mentioned that the rapist has no political identity, adding that if rape is given a political tag, the trial may be hampered.

He made the remarks at a meeting of the party's secretariat at the Awami League's central office at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue on Tuesday morning. Obaidul Quader said the government has never given a minimum waiver to any criminal involved in rape and murder. If rape is diverted to a different sector with political tags, justice may be hampered. Rape is a form of terrorism; Those involved must be brought to justice.
