News Desk: Initiatives have been taken to check whether regular online classes are being conducted in educational institutions (schools and colleges) at secondary and higher secondary level. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education issued an order in this regard on Tuesday (September 22). Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Prof. Syed Md. The order directed the Regional Directors, Deputy Directors, District Education Officers and Upazila / Thana Education Officers to inspect the educational institutions and education offices under them.

The order said that due to the closure of educational institutions, some field level officials do not feel the need to regularly inspect all educational institutions and education offices under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education. But it is well known that as a result of proper and timely initiatives of the government, our students, teachers, parents and education officials have become accustomed to TV and online classes very quickly. In order to accelerate this transition to digital literacy, it is necessary to make regular and regular visits to education offices and educational institutions in a new and innovative way. It said that regular meetings (once in two months), exchange of views with the head of the institution (once in two months) etc. are being held regularly in the regions under the leadership of directors and deputy directors and the type of online classes in different institutions Some changes have been made in the monitoring schedule to include the issues and take into account the new normal situation.

In this situation, the concerned officer at the field level is asked to send soft copy ([email protected]) to the educational institutions and education offices under him as per the schedule. Besides, the order also directed the education officers of all the regions, districts, upazilas / police stations under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education to send casual inspection information to the educational institutions and education offices as per the attached schedule as per the annual inspection calendar under the integrated monitoring plan.
