Narayanganj mosque blast: Another burnt to death

News Desk: Another person was burnt to death in the blast at Baitus Salat Jame Mosque on the west floor of Narayanganj. The death toll has risen to 29. Another died at the Sheikh Hasina Burn Institute while Abdus Sattar died.

Earlier, on Wednesday (September 9) morning, Dr. Samanta Lal Sen told reporters that since all the patients undergoing treatment had burnt their airways, it was not important what percentage of them were burnt. No one is safe from burns. Of the 36 people burned in the blast so far, 29 have died while undergoing treatment. Another returned home healthy.

The remaining 7 people are undergoing treatment. During the Esha prayers on Friday night, there was a loud explosion at the Baitus Salat Jame Mosque in Talla. More than 40 devotees were burnt. 37 of the burn victims were admitted to the Sheikh Hasina Burn Institute of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
