Prizes will be given to 500 winners in the 'Amar Mujib' competition

News Desk: Among the school-college students, 500 contestants who participated in the 'Amar Mujib' competition have been shortlisted for the prize. If the Corona situation is somewhat normal, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) will hand out prizes among the winners through a big event. It is learned that Education Minister Dipu Moni will distribute the award as the chief guest.

On the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu, Mausi organized a competition 'Amar Mujib' among students from class VIII to post-graduation in a national level educational institution. A short essay and drawing competition was organized on the theme 'Initiative of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Digital Revolution and Importance of Digital Signature in Building Secure Digital Bangladesh'. Selected essays and hand-drawn pictures of the headmasters and principals of the self-governing educational institutions at the district level were sent to Mausi by September 30 through the district education officer.

After that, 400 essays and 100 paintings were finally selected by the country's best academics and personalities. Among the winners, the first prize will be a digital crest, certificate and Bdt 15,000, the second prize will be a crest, certificate and Bdt 10,000 and the third prize will be a crest, certificate and Bdt 5,000.

According to Mausi, after the competition among secondary to college students, 512 essays and 128 drawings were selected and sent from all over the country. Of these, 400 essays and 100 pictures have been shortlisted for the award at various levels. A committee has been formed headed by the director general of Mausi. The prizes will be handed over in the presence of the winners by organizing a function through this committee. The Minister of Education will be present as the chief guest.

He said that the winners have been selected through verification and selection from the essays and pictures of the contestants sent from the district level. If the situation in Corona is a bit normal, a big event will be organized in Dhaka and prizes will be handed over to the best.
