The price of eggs has gone up instead of fish

News Desk: In the last few weeks in the capital, the price of eggs has been sold at a higher price, but it has come down a bit. However, the price of eggs has gone up again in less than a week.

The price of a dozen eggs has increased from five to 10 Taka per week. Besides eggs, the price of broiler chicken has also gone up. However, the fish market is a bit down. The price of fish has come down from Tk 10 to Tk 20 per kg in a week. On the other hand, the prices of beef, buffalo, khasi and goat meat remained unchanged. These images came to light after visiting the capital's Kamalapur, Motijheel T&T Colony Bazar, Fakirapul, Shantinagar and Segunbagicha Raw Bazaar on Friday (August 26). In these markets, broilers are being sold at Tk 135 to Tk 140 per kg with an increase of Tk 5 per kg, layer chickens are being sold at Tk 240 to Tk 150 per kg with an increase of Tk 10 per kg, and golden chickens at Tk 280 to Tk 280 per kg. Roast small chickens have been found to sell for Tk 500 to Tk 600 per four pieces. Meanwhile, domestic chicken is being sold at the previous price.

Domestic chicken is being sold at Tk 600 per kg in the market. In these markets, beef is being sold at Tk 580 to Tk 600 per ,Tk mutton at Tk 60 and goat meat at Tk 620. The price of eggs is being increased by five to 10 Taka per dozen in the market. In these markets, red eggs are being sold at Tk 115 to 120 per dozen, domestic chicken eggs at Tk 180 to 180, golden chicken eggs at Tk 150 and duck eggs at Tk 140. Prices are being reduced from Tk 10 to Tk 20 per kg. In these markets per kg kanchki fish is being sold at Tk 280, mala at Tk 300 to 350, desi tengra at Tk 350 to 500, river tengra (large) at Tk 450 to 500 and horn (size) at Tk 280 to 450. Taka, Desi Shing 700 to 800 Taka, Pabda 260 to 350 Taka, Desi Shrimp (Small) 350 to 400 Taka, Kai Fish 150 to 180 Taka, Rui (Depending on the size) 180 to 300 Taka, Mrigel 160 to 270 Taka, Pangas 110 Taka 160 Taka ,tilapia 110 to 150 taka, katal 180 to 260 taka per kg. However, the price of hilsa has remained unchanged. In these markets, hilsa weighing 1.5 to 1.5 kg is being sold at Tk 1,050 to Tk 1,100 per kg, hilsa weighing 1 kg is being sold at Tk 950 to Tk 1,000 per kg, hilsa weighing Tk 750 per 650 gm and hilsa weighing Tk 500 per 500 gm. From 600 taka, small hilsa,Tk 350 to 400 depending on the size of the small hilsa.
