Global death toll of Covid-19 reaches to 763,357

A total of  763,357 people died of coronavirus worldwide in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in Wuhan of China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

So far, 21,354,710 coronavirus cases have been detected at 10:30 am till Saturday (04:30 am GMT). Of them, 14,148,041 patients have been considered recovered, the source said.

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 6,443,312.

With the new tally in the 24-hour, 5,917 patients died from coronavirus while 286,365 infections have been diagnosed, and 230,082  patients have made fully recovery.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 171,535 deaths, followed by Brazil with 106,571, Mexico 55,908, India 49,134, Italy 35,234, France 30,406, Iran 19,331, Russia 15,498, Indonesia 6,021 and Saudi Arabia 3,338 respectively, worldometer reported.
