Israeli airstrikes on aid delivery team in Gaza, kill 27

International desk: Israel has launched an air attack on the relief distribution team in Gaza, Palestine. Besides, there have been several other attacks. At least 27 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Al Nusirat refugee camp in central Gaza, Wafa news agency reported, citing local sources. Al-Jazeera news. Injured people were rescued from the rubble after Israeli forces bombed a three-story residential building in the refugee camp and taken to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah.

Famine is imminent in war-torn Gaza, the UN has warned. It says 70 percent of people in northern Gaza face hunger. Under such circumstances, more than two thousand tons of food aid has reached Gaza through Jordan, funded by the United Kingdom.

According to the Foreign Office of the United Kingdom, these food items will be distributed to about 275,000 people through the World Food Program. Along with food, tents and blankets have also been sent as relief. These tents and blankets will be distributed through UNICEF. "We need sustained humanitarian access by road to get more aid," British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said in a statement. We continue to press Israel to allow more crossings to be opened and to restore health care, water and sanitation systems in Gaza for a long time.

More than 13,000 children have died in Israel's indiscriminate attacks on Gaza in the last five months, according to the United Nations. The number of severely malnourished children in northern Gaza has doubled in just one month, the agency's children's fund UNICEF said.

Many of these children, starving and malnourished, do not even have enough energy left in their bodies to cry. One in three children under the age of two in northern Gaza is now severely malnourished, according to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

At least 31,819 Palestinians have been killed and 73,934 injured in the Israeli aggression that has been ongoing for more than five months. On October 7, 1,139 people were killed in the Hamas attack in Israel.
