International Desk: At least 21 people were killed in a terrible road accident in the southern part of Afghanistan. 38 people were injured. The tragic accident took place in Gerashak district of Helmand province of the country on Sunday (March 17) morning. News from American news agency AP. Helmand province traffic officer Kadratullah said the accident occurred on the main road between southern Kandahar and western Herat provinces.

At that time, the passenger bus collided with a vehicle and hit a fuel tanker coming from the opposite direction. 21 people were killed and 38 people were injured. A spokesman for the police chief of Helmand said that 11 of the injured were in critical condition. They have been admitted to hospital. The death toll is expected to rise further.
