Thunderstorm with maximum speed of 60 km in 11 regions, warning in river ports

News Desk: Meteorological Department has predicted a storm with a maximum speed of 60 km in 11 regions of the country. The river ports in these areas have been asked to show the number one naval warning signal. This information was given in the weather forecast for the inland river ports of the country from 5 am to 1 pm on Sunday (September 24).

The forecast says- Temporarily gusty or gusty winds or rain with thunder over Rangpur, Dinajpur, Pabna, Bogra, Rajshahi, Jessore, Kushtia, Dhaka, Tangail, Mymensingh and Sylhet regions from South or South-East at a speed of 45-60 kmph. may be River ports in these areas have been asked to display naval warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, the 24-hour forecast of the Department of Meteorology on Saturday night said that light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thunder may occur in most places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and many places of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions. Also, there may be moderate to very heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
