2782 patients admitted to hospital due to dengue, 11 deaths

Health Desk: From Monday 8 am to Tuesday 8 am (in one day), 2782 patients were admitted to hospital due to dengue. Among the affected, 951 people have been admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka and 1831 people have been admitted to different hospitals outside Dhaka. At the same time, 11 more people died of dengue.

This information was informed in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Tuesday (September 5). It is said in the notification that at present, a total of 9 thousand 132 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country. There are currently 4 thousand 49 dengue patients admitted in Dhaka government and private hospitals and 5 thousand 83 dengue patients in other hospitals.

This year, 1 lakh 35 thousand 916 patients have been admitted to hospitals and received treatment for dengue throughout the country. Among them, 62 thousand 440 people received treatment in Dhaka and 73 thousand 476 people outside Dhaka. Among the infected, 1 lakh 26 thousand 127 people have recovered from the hospital and returned home. 57 thousand 915 in Dhaka and 68 thousand 212 outside Dhaka have recovered and returned home. 657 people have died due to dengue this year.
