Another 17 people died, 2308 were hospitalized

Health Desk: Another 17 people have died due to dengue fever in the last one day (Wednesday 8 am to Thursday 8 am). At the same time, 2308 patients were diagnosed with dengue and admitted to the hospital. 875 people have been admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, and 1433 people have been admitted to different hospitals outside Dhaka.

This information was informed in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Thursday (August 31). It is said in the notification that at present, a total of 8 thousand 378 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country. There are currently 3 thousand 817 dengue patients admitted in Dhaka government and private hospitals and 4 thousand 561 dengue patients in other hospitals.

This year, 1 lakh 23 thousand 808 patients have been admitted to hospitals and treated with dengue throughout the country. Among them, 58 thousand 21 people received treatment in Dhaka and 65 thousand 787 people outside Dhaka. Among the infected, 1 lakh 14 thousand 837 people have recovered from the hospital and returned home. 53 thousand 766 in Dhaka and 61 thousand 71 outside Dhaka have recovered and returned home. 593 people have died due to dengue this year.
