Information Technology Desk: Messenger app of the popular social media Facebook is now one of the means of communication. Messenger doesn't pair to talk to Facebook friends. With this messenger app you can make video and audio calls along with chatting. Many people use messenger lite app instead of messenger app. It reduces the cost of data. Bad news for Messenger Lite app users.

This Messenger Lite app is closing in September. TechCrunch reports that a message is currently being sent to users of the app. That message suggests they use Messenger to continue chatting. The Messenger Lite app has already been removed from the Google Play Store for new users.

It will become void from September 18 onwards. Messages are being sent to those using the Messenger Lite app for Android starting August 21, a Meta spokesperson told TechCrunch in an email. Messenger and Messenger Lite are instructed. Meta, meanwhile, announced earlier this week that it plans to roll out default end-to-end encryption to messaging apps by the end of this year.
